This series is called Olympic Gold and was released in 200 to celebration Australia hosting the Olympic Games in Sydney. The coins were struck into gold with a weight of 10 grams. This was the first set of gold coins issued by the Royal Australian Mint and the series is a popular one. The set was issued in a wooden presentation box that. Inside the lid of the box was the insignia of The Perth Mint and The Royal Australian Mint. A Certificate of Authenticity was also included.
