1959 Half Penny

Elizabeth II

The 1959 half penny is the only Elizabeth II half penny that is readily available in a golden red mint state. The rest of the series, struck at the Perth mint, at best come a salmon mint and are almost always plagued by die faults reducing typical gradings. A number of 1959 rolls have turned up ensuring an abundance of mint state examples.

Values are in AUD and are retail price estimations based on past sales of coins certified by PCGS or NGC and as such values only related to such graded coins.
